Part Time Tanning Sales Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer\-oriented Tanning Consultant to join our fast paced Alloa salon. As a Tanning Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting tanning products and services, and ensuring a clean and safe tanning environment. This position is varied shifts and includes days, nights and weekends.

Duties:
\- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the tanning salon
\- Provide detailed information about tanning packages, lotions, and accessories
\- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate tanning equipment based on their skin type and desired results
\- Operate tanning beds and ensure they are clean and properly maintained
\- Educate customers on the importance of using protective eyewear and following safety guidelines
\- Monitor tanning sessions to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to time limits
\- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
\- Maintain cleanliness of the salon including sanitizing tanning beds, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies
\- Stay up\-to\-date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers

Experience:
\- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required
\- Knowledge of tanning equipment, lotions, and accessories is a plus
\- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
\- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment
\- Basic computer skills for processing payments and maintaining customer records
