PART-TIME SHOWROOM & CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

Mobility Genie is looking for a friendly, patient and reliable person to join our showroom team in Farranfore.

This varied role combines personalised customer service, showroom sales, telephone and email enquiries, online\-order fulfilment and general stock duties. Many of our customers are older or experiencing mobility challenges, so patience, empathy and good listening skills are essential.

Previous experience in retail, customer service, healthcare, caregiving or nursing would be an advantage but is not essential. Full product and systems training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and listening to their individual needs


• Recommending and demonstrating appropriate mobility and independent\-living products


• Processing in\-showroom sales and payments


• Answering telephone and email enquiries


• Processing, packing and dispatching online orders


• Receiving deliveries and organising stock


• Maintaining a clean, professional and accessible showroom


• Occasionally handling heavier products using the equipment and training provided

This position does not involve providing medical advice. It involves listening to customers and helping them select suitable products based on the training provided.

About you

You should be:

• Patient, empathetic and respectful when assisting customers, families and carers


• Friendly and confident in person, by telephone and by email


• Dependable, punctual and willing to learn


• Comfortable using computers, payment terminals and online\-order systems


• Able to assist with deliveries and product handling


• Able to travel reliably to Farranfore

Hours

• Part\-time, permanent position


• 15–25 hours per week (2–3 days per week)


• Showroom hours: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday


• No evening or weekend work
