PART TIME \- RECOVERY \& HOUSING SUPPORT WORKER

The Chrysalis Group is a group of organisations, comprising of commercial, charitable and not for profit companies. Our work includes the provision of tailored housing and tenancy support, expert property development for specialist accommodation, and structured recovery programmes for individuals overcoming addiction and mental health challenges. We also offer support for Polish women and children escaping domestic abuse and deliver high\-quality care services.

Each subsidiary plays a key role in supporting vulnerable individuals and communities while meeting the Group’s charitable objectives.

We are looking for an experienced, part time, Recovery \& Housing Support Worker who will primarily support individuals on our Recovery Programme whilst assisting them to retain their tenancies and avoid homelessness in our supported accommodation. You will be a compassionate and assertive individual who sets clear expectations and boundaries while making a difference.

You will work with project participants who are receiving drug, alcohol and accommodation support services and assist them with accessing community services and empower them to develop life and educational skills tailored to their individual circumstances. You will regularly visit them at their residence and also at The Compass Project.

This is a part time role of 21 hours per week, excluding out of hours cover\*, worked over a 2 week rota as detailed below. During this time you will need transport to attend our dry houses and the Compass Project to engage fully with our participants, sometimes on an emergency basis.

Week 1

Monday 5 hours (10:30\-3:30\)

Tuesday 4 hours (11:30\-3:30\)

Wednesday 6 Hours (9:30\-3:30\)

Thursday 3 Hours (12\-3:00\)

Friday 3 Hours (11\-2:00\)

Week 2

Monday 5 hours (10:30\-3:30\)

Tuesday 4 hours (11:30\-3:30\)

Wednesday 6 Hours (9:30\-3:30\)

Thursday 3 Hours (12\-3:00\)

Saturday 3 Hours (10:30\-1:30\)
