Part time qualified dental nurse (2/3 days per week)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Part\-time Dental Nurse to join our friendly dental practice for two\- three days per week. The successful candidate will support the dental team in delivering high\-quality patient care, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and organisation. Responsibilities

• Assisting dentists during various dental procedures with preparation and sterilisation of instruments


• Providing exceptional patient care, including explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort


• Maintaining accurate patient records using IT systems


• Ensuring the clinical environment adheres to health and safety standards


• Supporting infection control protocols and sterilisation processes


• Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise patient flow


• Communicating effectively with patients, team members, and external providers


• Supporting administrative tasks as required, including stock management and documentation

Experience

• Previous experience as a qualified dental nurse is essential


• Proven ability to deliver excellent patient care in a dental setting


• Good command of English, both written and spoken


• Strong IT skills, including familiarity with dental practice management software


• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with patients and team members


• Organisational skills to manage appointments and maintain clinical standards effectively
