Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail\-oriented Part\-Time Purchaser to support the procurement of materials required for our Power control and supply products. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team and be responsible for sourcing proprietary electrical components, fixings and metal panels.
This is a part time position with hours and days to be agreed with the successful candidate, however the role MUST cover Fridays due to existing flexible working agreements within the team.

Key Responsibilities

· Source and purchase materials, products, and services according to company requirements.

· Obtain quotations and compare prices from suppliers to secure the best value.

· Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and promptly.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when necessary.

· Track deliveries and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, or quality concerns.

· Maintain purchasing records, contracts, and supplier databases.

· Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

· Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.

Progress work through ERP systems ODOO/SAP.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative roles preferred.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Good organizational and time\-management abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record\-keeping.

  • Knowledge of inventory management systems is an advantage.
Qualifications
  • Educated to A’ Level / BTEC equivalent.

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a distinct advantage.

  • Knowledge of working with ERP systems ODOO/SAP
