Part-Time Pharmacist
The Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services to Queen Anne Street Medical Centre (Clinical Trials) and Fitzrovia Hospital, a private hospital with theatres, ward, and specialist consultants.
Main Responsibilities:
Opportunity to enhance or commence Clinical Trials Pharmacy practice and maintain Pharmacy services for private hospital and clinics.
Highly flexible pharmacist, who thrives in a fast\-paced environment; with the ability to transition smoothly between clinical trials, hospital and community pharmacy setting while maintaining accuracy, compliance and patient\-focused care.
Legally and clinically check prescriptions and undergo dispensing process with high level of accuracy.
Work against evidence\-based practice and be able to communicate evidence to a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.
Able to problem solve, work independently as effectively as you would in a team and have good time coordination.
Carry out pharmacy responsibilities for Clinical Trials involving but not limited to, IMP management in line with UK Clinical Trials Regulations and good clinical practice.
Work closely with the Superintendent Pharmacist and the Clinical Trials team at all stages of a study.
Remain professional and approachable for assistance required by patients, colleagues, and external personnel.
Aid and train colleagues in Clinical Trials involving coordinators, nurses, and doctors.
Review, develop and implement thorough documentation practices.
Contribute to strategic planning and development of pharmacy services.
Purchase of medicines in a cost\-effective and timely manner.
