POSITION: Night Cleaner
RESPONSIBLE TO: Health \& Fitness Manager \& Cleaning Supervisor
MAIN DUTIES:
The delivery of excellent customer services at all times to ensure customer satisfaction. To ensure all our facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
THIS POSITION IS FOR 3 NIGHTS PER WEEK INCLUDING SOME WEEKENDS 21\.00 \- 01\.00
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The job of a cleaner is to ensure that all the areas of the club assigned for cleaning are kept clean and hygienic.
- To complete all work as outlined in your daily cleaning schedule which includes but not a full list:
2\. Maintain changing room facilities ensuring showers, floors, lockers, countertops, are all kept clean and tidy, stock is replenished.
3\. Gym and studio floors are swept and cleaned; studio mirrors are cleared of handprints.
4\. Public walkways within health \& fitness and hoovered and lockers are cleaned.
5\. Clean all poolside facilities including indoor \& outdoor pool areas, sauna, steam room and showers, clearing any rubbish and removal of lost property to reception.
6\. Areas for cleaning will consist of, Reception, Health \& Fitness Club plus the help and support area are restaurant and Kelvedon.
7\. Looking and securing the building at the end of shift.
- Safely handle and store chemical substances and cleaning products and know how to properly dispose of waste.
- Work with electrical appliances (hoovers, wet vacs for example) and make sure they are safe to use and stored correctly
- Keep up to date with BGL compliance training and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Work alongside and support work colleagues with shift cover and be flexible within your working hours
- Create a positive and approachable impact on all our members and guest, greeting them with a hello or good morning/afternoon or evening.
- You will be required to work Nights and weekends.
- You will be working in some cold, hot and humid environments.
