There’s something special about a great pub with rooms — the warm welcome, the cosy bedrooms and those little details that make guests want to come back.

We’re looking for a part\-time Housekeeper to join our friendly team at The Eliot Arms, South Cerney, helping us make sure every guest feels comfortable, cared for and completely at home.

This is a hands\-on role where the little things really matter. From fresh, crisp bedding and spotless bathrooms to making sure the communal areas are looking their best, you’ll play an important part in creating the experience our guests remember.

What you’ll be doing

• Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.


• Making beds, changing linen, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising.


• Making sure rooms are looking their best and ready for our next guests.


• Paying attention to the little details that make a room feel welcoming.


• Restocking toiletries, towels, linen and cleaning supplies.


• Keeping housekeeping areas clean, tidy and organised.


• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or safety concerns to the team.


• Following our cleaning, hygiene and health \& safety procedures.


• Using cleaning equipment safely and responsibly.

Most importantly, someone who takes pride in what they do.

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, pub or cleaning experience would be a bonus, but it’s not essential. If you’re reliable, hardworking, have a good eye for detail and enjoy leaving things looking their absolute best, we’d love to hear from you.


• You’ll be comfortable working independently, managing your time and keeping standards high, while also being part of a friendly team.


• The role is active and involves being on your feet, bending and lifting, so a practical, hands\-on approach is important.

This is a part\-time opportunity, making it ideal for someone looking for regular work with a friendly local team while keeping some flexibility in their week.

Pay: Up to £12\.71 per hour

Expected hours: 12\.0 – 20\.0 per week
