Part Time Health Care Assistant (3 years Fixed term)

PART\-TIME HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT REQUIRED \- (25 hours per week, Day Shifts)

For: Residence of Religious Sisters, Glasnevin

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Part\-time Healthcare Assistant to provide exceptional care to our elderly residents.

Essential:

· Candidate must possess the relevant qualifications for the role (at least QQI level 5 Health Care Assistant) and/or other relevant training

· Have previous experience of caring for the elderly preferably in a residential setting

· Team Player

· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

· Have a genuine interest in caring for older people and possess a person\-centred approach

· Show a positive attitude and be open to changing needs of residents

· To participate in care planning with nursing and other relevant staff

· Be proficient in Manual Handling and Patient Moving Skills

· English both spoken \& written

· Work authorisation: Ireland

· 2 References – one from current employer

· Subject to successful reference checks and Garda Vetting

Hours of Work:

Mondays to Fridays 8am – 1pm; this is a 3 year fixed term position.
