Part-Time Concierge

Our client is currently looking for a Part-Time Concierge to look after one of their residential developments in North London. They are seeking a professional candidate, experienced ideally in the residential sector, who is confident in handling resident queries and communications, incoming contractors and deliveries, as well as ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation on site.

Position: Day Concierge
Rota: Monday to Friday, 11am - 3pm (20 hours per week, hours potentially negotiable)
Location: North London
Salary: £24.45ph (approximately £25k pa)

Responsibilities:

• To provide all necessary services to the residents as per the instructions of senior management.


• To communicate efficiently with all other members of staff, the residents, guests and onsite contractors.


• Responsible for the welcoming residents and guests to the property.


• Responsible for the cleanliness and comfort of the reception area and common parts at all times.


• To respond proactively to resident requests. Always respond a timely and polite manner.


• You will be required to carry out inspections/patrols of the common areas of the building. Throughout your shift, you must ensure the property is kept clean and tidy.


• While manning the main reception desk, you may be required to carry out a variety of administration and office tasks.


• You are always to assist residents together with their guests and visitors when and where required.


• To receive and distribute all mail, parcels/deliveries and keys.


• Ensure that you are always courteous, polite and positive to residents, guests, suppliers and the public in general.


• To answer the telephone and deal with general enquiries.


• To monitor the presence of workmen working within the building and supervise their activities to ensure minimum disturbance to residents.


• Log and report any incidence of disrepair by using the appropriate procedure / tool at your disposal. Immediately inform senior management of the incidence. This should include all building defects, plumbing, heating and lighting in the common parts.


• Report and monitor Health & Safety issues and ensure a safe working practice is adhered to.

Personal Specification:

• Excellent written and spoken communication


• Good timekeeping and efficiency


• Attention to detail


• Experience within a previous residential role, or similar high end hospitality is highly beneficial
