Part time Brain Injury Rehab Assistant
Our client is in his 60's and sustained a brain injury injuries in an accident.
He has a range of difficulties including fatigue and higher\-level cognitive function (processing, decision making, multi\-tasking, problem solving, memory etc).
The role does include some hours worked at the weekend.
Suitable candidates will:
Have relevant experience in health/social care/rehab roles
Preferably have a proven track record in brain injury support
Be able to listen actively and patiently
Be a car owner/driver
Be confident, outgoing and active, with good motivational and communication skills
Be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Be willing to work with the client on a 1:1 basis, in either the client’s home or community settings
We require a part\-time rehab support worker to enable our client to reach his full potential while he undertakes multidisciplinary neuro rehabilitation.
The successful candidate will receive training and supervision from a clinical case manager and a full multidisciplinary team.
The client enjoys a wide range of activities including walking his dogs, gym, woodwork, photography, attending football matches as a spectator and playing walking football. He would very much enjoy the companionship of a RSW who shares similar interests.

Pay: £16\.00 per hour
