Part Time Bookkeeper

Part-Time Bookkeeper Chelmsford | £28,000–£30,000 pro-rata DOE | 2–3 days per week | Hybrid/Remote

We are urgently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support a busy finance function on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong all-round accounts experience and confidence working independently.

The Role You’ll handle a broad range of bookkeeping and finance tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Nominal Ledger


• Payroll processing


• Bank reconciliations


• Nominal ledger reconciliation


• General ad-hoc duties


• Working with computerised accounting and payroll systems

About You You’ll bring solid bookkeeping experience and the ability to manage your workload effectively.

You must have:

• 5+ years’ bookkeeping experience


• Strong S/L, P/L and N/L knowledge


• Payroll experience


• Good working knowledge of accounting and payroll software


• High accuracy and attention to detail
