Paralegal

We are recruiting for a Paralegal to join our Investment and Asset Management team in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the foremost Real Estate groups in the country with over 260 staff. You will be part of the financial services segment which is one of seven teams within the real estate group; you will be undertaking a range of duties including title check and reports on title, freehold and leasehold disposals, title due diligence and other transactional support for financing projects.

Your Role
-------------

As a Paralegal your day to day remit includes:

• High volume work within the Real Estate Financial Services team dealing with commercial lending work for banks and other institutional lenders.


• Project work e.g. large\-scale due diligence for refinancing, lease reports.


• Provide all our clients with a high\-quality service in accordance with the Firm’s procedures.


• Maintain and improve relations with existing clients.


• Achieve the budget and targets set by the Firm.

• The role would suit a paralegal with good academics.


• Commercial or residential property experience is desirable, but not essential.


• Strong file management skills, communication, drafting skills required.


• Good IT skills, good eye for detail and ability to juggle a busy and varied workload.


• Excellent communication skills \- high volume of interaction via the telephone; high standards of client service essential.


• Enthusiastic \& team approach to working.


• A desire to learn and develop legal skills in the area of real estate and financial services.


• A completed LPC would be advantageous, but not essential.
