My client, a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented residential property paralegal to join their busy team at our central London office. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions
- Preparing and reviewing legal documents
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents, and other third parties
- Assisting in the progress of property files from initial instruction through to post-completion
- Supporting fee earners to ensure transactions progress efficiently and deadlines are met
- Minimum of 1 year experience in residential property / conveyancing as a Paralegal or similar
- Good understanding of the residential sale and purchase process
- Experience in completion and submission of required protocol forms
- Good understanding of AML requirements and compliance procedures
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to acting for companies would be advantageous
- Professional, proactive, and highly organised approach to work
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Calm and composed under pressure, with a solutions-focused mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of the importance of client care
