Painter & Decorator - Voids
Working hours: Full time - 37 hours per week.
Schedule Type: Field-based role covering the Croydon to Brighton area, depending on job requirements. Our scheduling system efficiently plans jobs and optimises routes, using your home location as the starting point.
The Role

We’re looking for a Painter & Decorator to join a Voids team, delivering high-quality work across empty properties and ensuring homes are finished to a high standard and ready for new tenants.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out high-quality painting and decorating work in empty homes, preparing properties for new residents
- Ensuring homes are finished to a high standard and ready for letting
- Always working safely and in line with health and safety regulations
- Using mobile technology to manage jobs, record work completed, and maintain accurate records
- Assessing work requirements through property inspections, selecting the most effective solution to complete work efficiently and minimise rework.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a recognised qualification in Painting & Decorating (C&G Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience delivering high-quality work in a professional environment
- The ability to assess work requirements and use your expertise to identify the most effective solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Experience using mobile technology to receive and update work records
- Follows risk assessments, manufacturer’s guidance, and all health and safety procedures, including COSHH and manual handling
- Holds a full, clean UK driving licence.
