<p>The Painter 1 is focused on paint line processes, preparing parts to be painted, inspecting parts after painting, and labeling parts for movement into the following area, while meeting consistent quality standards. The Painter 1 reports to the Production Supervisor.<strong> </strong></p>
<p>This role is perfect for an individual who has a strong attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively, and displays exceptional time management skills. A vital member of the Paint department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.</p>

<p>Job responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Follow directions/ priorities given by Department Lead/ Supervisor/ Support Manager </li>
<li>Understand the process of changing parts on correct racks </li>
<li>Helps to ensure the paint line is maintaining the capacity plan</li>
<li>Make color changes as required in a timely manner</li>
<li>Ensures the quality of parts coming off the paint line meet the company’s quality standard </li>
<li>Ensures the paint room is operating at efficient levels. Rebuilds paint guns and pumps as required. Maintains spare part inventory levels</li>
<li>Uses personal protective equipment and ensures others in the department follow the company’s safety policies</li>
<li>Maintains and improves the department 5S organization and cleanliness </li>
<li>Maintain accurate inventory of the powder throughout the year including cycle counts</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of paint line processes</li>
<li>Paint booth experience</li>
<li>Able to work in a team environment</li>
<li>Willingness to meet and exceed production requirements</li>
<li>Ability to handle change</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude</li>
<li>Prior Powder Coating Experience desired</li>
