Role Overview

We are looking for a results\-driven Paid Media \& Digital Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimise our paid advertising and digital marketing campaigns. This role is central to generating high\-quality leads and enquiries, and would suit someone who is equally comfortable working with data and budgets as they are with creative and messaging. You will work closely with \[the wider marketing team / business development / department heads] to ensure campaigns are targeted, measurable, and deliver a strong return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Management

  • Plan, set up, manage, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.

  • Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring efficient spend and strong return on ad spend (ROAS).

  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategy.

  • Write and test ad copy, creative briefs, and landing page recommendations to improve conversion rates.

  • Monitor campaign performance daily/weekly, making data\-driven adjustments to bidding, targeting, and creative.

  • Run A/B tests across ads, landing pages, and audiences to continually improve performance.
Digital Marketing \& Analytics
  • Support the wider digital marketing strategy, including SEO, email marketing, and social media where required.

  • Track, report, and analyse key performance metrics (leads, cost per acquisition, conversion rates, ROI) using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and platform\-native reporting.

  • Produce regular performance reports for stakeholders, translating data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Manage tracking and attribution setup, ensuring accurate lead and conversion tracking across channels.

  • Stay up to date with platform updates, industry trends, and best practices in paid media and digital marketing.
Cross\-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with \[business development, sales, or fee\-earning teams] to ensure leads generated are high\-quality and effectively followed up.

  • Collaborate with content, design, or external agencies (where applicable) to develop creative assets aligned with campaign goals.

  • Liaise with website/development teams to support landing page optimisation and tracking implementation.

  • Contribute to the wider marketing strategy and support other marketing activities as required.
General
  • Manage relationships with external platforms, agencies, or vendors where relevant.

  • Ensure all campaigns comply with relevant advertising standards, data protection regulations (including GDPR), and platform policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of campaign activity, spend, and performance.
Person Specification

Essential Skills \& Experience

  • Proven experience managing paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or similar), with a track record of delivering measurable results.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using Google Analytics (GA4\), Google Tag Manager, and campaign reporting tools.

  • Good understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, conversion rate optimisation, and audience targeting.

  • Experience managing advertising budgets and optimising for ROI/ROAS.

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write compelling ad copy.

  • Comfortable working with data and translating it into clear insights and recommendations.
Desirable
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, Google Analytics).

  • Experience marketing professional services (legal, financial, or similar regulated sectors).

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead tracking/attribution tools.

  • Basic design skills or experience briefing creative/design teams.

  • Experience with email marketing platforms and/or marketing automation tools.
