The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full\-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.
Your core responsibilities are:

- Primary point of contact for Test Managers to align on homologation and abuse related content
- Responsible for the alignment and completeness of all official homologation documentation required for submission to authorities and certification bodies
- Contribution to improvements of the internal test facility, with a specific focus on the Abuse Test area (safety equipment, measurement chains, test rig setups)
- Development of detailed processes and specifications for executing homologation tests in accordance with international standards (e.g., ECE, UN, ISO)
- Responsible for specification, preparation, execution, and documentation of complex homologation and abuse test cases

- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- Several years of experience in testing and validation of battery systems or automotive\-critical components
- In\-depth knowledge of homologation processes and relevant standards (UN ECE R100, GB,…)
- Experience in coordinating technical teams or sub\-projects
- Deep understanding of abuse test scenarios (thermal, mechanical, electrical) and safety concepts (Highest priority on occupational safety, especially when handling high\-voltage systems and destructive tests)
- Experience in setting up and documenting test rigs
- Fluent English skills in spoken and written form

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38\.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 53\.000\.–
We also offer a market\-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
