PA/Support Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PA/Support Worker to provide high\-quality support to a teenage girl with Rett's syndrome, Autism and other learning disabilities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting this young lady with her personal care, medication and morning/bedtime routines.

This 2\-1 role will be carried out in the young persons own home with another key worker and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the family's lives through personalised care and support.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Support clients with mobility and daily routines in accordance with care plans


• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ wellbeing


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff


• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for all


• Collaborate with the care team to deliver personalised support tailored to individual needs

Skills

• Experience working within a care home or providing home care support is desirable


• Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively


• Good command of English, both written and spoken, for clear communication


• Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and updating records accurately


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members


• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to supporting vulnerable individuals


• Organised with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks

Hours Required

• Monday\-Friday 4pm\-6pm or 4:30pm\-6:30pm


• Saturday \& Sunday 7:30am\-9:30am \& 5:30pm\-7:30pm

Pay: £15\.00 per hour
