Location: Trowbridge Warehouse
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Tuesday to Saturday 0815 – 1645 with 30\-minute unpaid break

Job Purpose
To efficiently support the movement of stock within our Outlet Store, ensuring timely and accurate handling of inventory to meet store demands. This role also provides essential assistance to the general warehouse operations by performing standard warehouse tasks, contributing to the smooth and organized flow of goods throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Outlet \& Furniture Support
- Assist the Outlet team with moving, handling, and positioning furniture safely
- Support the preparation, packing, and collection of Outlet customer purchases
- Help fulfil Outlet requests, including locating, moving and preparing stock for sale or customer collection
- Assist with the handling, storage, and movement of large, fragile, or bespoke furniture pieces, ensuring products are protected from damage
- Support with projects and stock movements between the warehouse, stores, and Outlet when required
- Handling goods with great care when unloading vehicles
- Checking supplier deliveries against system
- Reporting any damages, shortages or goods sent in to the Goods In Manager
- Accurately picking and handling with care goods for the retail outlets from an internal transfer request
- Producing the relevant paperwork before releasing stock for delivery
- Packing goods carefully, using packaging material when necessary before despatching the Goods in the relevant bays
- Ensuring all goods are ticketed and barcoded in the correct manner
- Ensuring the stock is processed, priced and put away
- Reporting any discrepancies to the Goods In Manager
- Assisting with Home Deliveries when required by the Business
- Following company procedures at all times and helping maintain a safe working environment by keeping the Warehouse clean and tidy
- Ensuring that all administration is carried out accurately and effectively and in line with company procedures, including all cash handling responsibilities
- Ensuring the warehouse maintains the highest possible standard in terms of product handling and good housekeeping, keeping stock damage to an absolute minimum
- Carrying out stock takes, as and when required
- Responsible for the security of the warehouse in all respects
- Performing additional warehouse duties that may be required when necessary
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Clean full driver’s licence for over 3 years with no bans in the past 5 years
- · Knowledge of driving in London an advantage, but not essential
- A strong background in warehousing \- preferably high\-end / luxury furniture sales
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual tasks
- Experience with hand power tools (DIY level)
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook programmes
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
