About Noble Healthcare
Noble Healthcare is a growing UK pharmaceutical wholesaler supplying OTC, branded and generic medicines to pharmacies, healthcare providers, wholesalers and international markets. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced OTC Trader \& Buyer to strengthen our purchasing and commercial team.
The Role
This is a commercially focused role responsible for sourcing, purchasing and trading over\-the\-counter (OTC) products across the UK and international markets. You will be responsible for developing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, identifying market opportunities and ensuring stock availability whilst maintaining strong profit margins.
The successful candidate will play a key role in growing Noble Healthcare's OTC portfolio and developing strategic supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase OTC medicines, healthcare products, vitamins and wellness products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers.
- Negotiate pricing, rebates and supply agreements.
- Monitor market trends, shortages and demand to identify profitable trading opportunities.
- Generate sales opportunities with pharmacies, wholesalers and export customers.
- Manage supplier performance, stock availability and lead times.
- Work closely with the Sales, Logistics and Quality teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
- Analyse market pricing and competitor activity.
- Support the development of new OTC product ranges and supplier partnerships.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and trading records.
- Achieve agreed purchasing, margin and sales targets.
- Experience in OTC purchasing, pharmaceutical buying, healthcare product procurement or OTC trading.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship\-building abilities.
- Ability to analyse market data and identify opportunities.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel and business systems.
- Experience working for a pharmaceutical wholesaler, pharmacy buying group or healthcare distributor.
- Existing supplier network within the OTC or consumer healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of UK pharmacy and healthcare markets.
- Understanding of MHRA and GDP requirements.
