With a growing product portfolio and customer base, we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic application engineer that will thrive in a busy sales environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in supporting our sales team across a European region to achieve ambitious revenue growth objectives. You must be self\-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, be comfortable presenting and discussing our technical solutions.

Your tasks

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical support, both pre and post sales. They will cover the test and measurement product portfolio across a number of application areas focusing on high speed digital design, power electronics and signal integrity. The candidate will be one of the main points of contact for internal and external customers, providing technical assistance and solutions, delivered via telephone, email and on\-site visits. In pre\-sales, the successful candidate will be able to identify and guide the customer to the correct solution through technical qualification, including delivery of focused presentations and demonstrations of the equipment. Post sales responsibilities include timely provision of support to customers, for example, providing instrument familiarisation, with hands\-on training or helping the customer to ensure that the purchased test solution is optimized for requirements.Exciting insights into Rohde \& Schwarz

Your qualifications

• HNC or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering • Practical working knowledge of the embedded systems and power electronics industry • Experience of using Oscilloscopes, probes and other T\&M devices and an understanding of their architecture. • Knowledge of signal integrity challenges and applications in high\-speed serial or embedded systems (jitter, clock/data recovery, eye diagrams etc.) • Knowledge of serial data interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, Automotive Ethernet, JESD etc. • Knowledge and understanding of power designs, power converters and their testing needs. • Experience of digital, DC or RF technologies, applications and associated regulations/standards. • Experience in a technical, high quality and customer service driven sales environment • Willingness to appear in videos and social media supporting our oscilloscopes, probes and accessories • Ability and willingness to travel across Europe for training courses and customer support • Excellent customer facing and interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • UK National, due to the security requirements / nature of the role. • Full and clean driving licenseInterested?
