At Vodafone, we’re not just shaping the future of connectivity for our customers — we’re shaping the future for everyone who joins our team. When you work with us, you’re part of a global mission to connect people, solve complex challenges, and create a sustainable and more inclusive world.

If you want to grow your career whilst finding the right balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunity to help you belong and make a real impact.

What you’ll do
------------------

With us,you can shape how Vodafone Ireland delivers its strategy by designing organisations that are clear, effective and built for the future.

As Organisational Effectiveness Lead, you’ll work as part of the People function, partnering closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, Centres of Excellence and business leadership teams. Acting as a trusted internal consultant, you’ll enable Vodafone Ireland to deliver its strategy through effective organisation design, clear accountabilities and efficient ways of working.

You’ll drive organisational effectiveness by designing and delivering fit‑for‑purpose organisational structures, operating models and ways of working that support strategy execution, cost discipline and long‑range workforce planning alignment. You’ll assess current operating model designs and organisation structures, carrying out as‑is analysis to evaluate effectiveness, duplication, spans and layers, alignment to strategy, and opportunities related to AI and automation. From this, you’ll develop clear recommendations and design target‑state operating models and structures, ensuring alignment with Vodafone global frameworks where appropriate and applying structured design principles to create clearer ownership, improved performance and simplified ways of working.

You’ll act as a strategic partner to business leaders and HRBPs, shaping organisational solutions aligned to business priorities and providing guidance on organisation design, governance, role clarity and decision‑making. You’ll conduct an annual organisation health review for each business area, producing recommendations and KPIs for optimisation, and coaching leaders to embed accountability, ownership and effective team structures.

Working across workforce planning, you’ll partner with HRBPs and Finance to ensure organisation structures are right‑sized for both current and future business needs. You’ll support longer‑range planning of headcount and employment costs in line with budgets and long‑range plans, optimise the workforce mix across employees, contractors and partners, and collaborate with the global OE Centre of Excellence on benchmarking, best practice and recommendations. You’ll also partner with the Vodafone Learning Organisation to align skills and capability plans to future organisational structures and ways of working.

In partnership with Reward, you’ll support job architecture and governance by understanding job evaluation, role grading and framework requirements, ensuring consistency and alignment across roles, levels and organisational structures in line with the global blueprint. You’ll support organisation design decisions with clear levelling and role differentiation.

You’ll continuously improve ways of working by identifying inefficiencies, duplication and organisational friction across teams and processes. You’ll design solutions that improve the flow of work and unlock capacity, including consideration of tools, systems, automation and AI to be embedded into operating model design.

You’ll lead organisation‑wide transformation projects focused on future‑fit opportunities, partnering with leaders and stakeholders to ensure clear change readiness and adoption timelines, while aligning organisation design with Vodafone Group direction and transformation priorities.

Using organisational, performance and engagement data, you’ll inform diagnosis and prioritisation, track the impact of organisational changes and continuously refine approaches. You’ll provide clear insights and recommendations to leadership to support informed decision‑making and ongoing improvement.
