Role Overview
We are looking for an Orchestra Leader to organize and lead a local chamber orchestra for our classical music concerts.
The role combines musical leadership with the practical coordination of musicians and communication with our production team. We are looking for someone interested in long\-term collaboration who can grow with the project as we expand the concert series.
Key Responsibilities
\* Recruit and coordinate professional musicians for the orchestra.
\* Organize musician line\-ups for individual concerts.
\* Lead rehearsals and performances.
\* Ensure musicians are prepared and performances run smoothly.
\* Act as the main point of contact between the musicians and our production team.
\* Coordinate with the venue team when needed.
\* Keep track of musician fees and provide payment information to our team.
\* Handle basic administrative tasks related to the orchestra.
Desired Qualifications
\* Professional experience as a musician, orchestra leader, conductor, concertmaster, or in a similar role.
\* A good network of professional classical musicians.
\* Good knowledge of classical repertoire and performance practices.
\* Strong organizational and communication skills.
\* Reliable, independent, and proactive approach.
\* Good working knowledge of English.
\* Interest in building a long\-term collaboration and developing the project together with us.
