Optical Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a detail\-oriented Optical Assistant to join our team. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the optometrist and ensuring smooth operations within the optical department.
Duties:
\- Assist optometrist with eye examinations and contact lens fittings
\- Prepare patients for vision tests and examinations
\- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients with frame selection and lens options
\- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
\- Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling billing
Requirements
\- Previous experience in an optical setting is essential \- please only apply if you have this
\- Knowledge of optical laboratory procedures is a plus
\- Familiarity with anatomy related to the eye is beneficial
\- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
\- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
\- Ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment
