Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with frame selection, lens options, and fitting procedures
- Support the optical team in preparing and processing eyewear orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical retail area and equipment
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment of frames, lenses, and accessories
- Provide basic information about eye health, lens types, and frame features to help guide patient choices
- Support the laboratory team by understanding basic lens fabrication processes and handling materials with care
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while assisting in daily clinic operations
- Previous laboratory experience or familiarity with optical experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of human anatomy related to the eye enhances your ability to assist effectively
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Basic organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain a tidy workspace
- A proactive attitude with a passion for helping others improve their vision and confidence
Pay: £26,000\.00\-£27,000\.00 per year
