Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control \& Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one\-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services. We’re proud to be a key partner on the Caledonia Water Alliance and will successfully and safely work with Scottish Water to jointly deliver SR21, a six\-year water and wastewater infrastructure pan Scotland capital investment programme.

What will you be doing?
This role requires extensive experience within the water sector, managing multiple priorities and workstreams in a complex environment. A relevant degree or professional qualification is desirable, alongside a strong track record of senior leadership within utility contracting or similar industries. The role demands strong commercial acumen, with a proven ability to drive performance improvement and deliver results. Key strengths include client relationship management, business development, and in\-depth knowledge of SHEQW standards and statutory frameworks. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to influence at senior levels and maintain a strong customer\-focused approach.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft office tools
- Excellent communication skills and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Self\-motivated and able to work on own initiative, with excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to continually prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines
- Good attention to detail
