Operations Shift Manager
Job Overview:
Rinkit are seeking a Operations Shift Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility five days. The ideal candidate will have experience in picking and packing, team management, and business processes. This is a hands\-on role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team of up to 40 colleagues and a pick/pack supervisor throughout the day.
This is a hands on role, the ideal candidate will need to balance organisation, workflows, reporting procedures and team performance constantly.
Shift:
To finalise, it will be based off of a 40hr working week with rotation.
Pay:
£40,000 p/a \+ Bonus scheme up to £4000
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Contribute towards the picking, checking and packing of customer orders.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of stock
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency
- Utilise warehouse management system
- Understand and implement the processes and completion of the tasks of the day
- Health and safety orientated
- Proven experience in team management and leadership
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management
- Familiarity with business processes related to warehousing and distribution
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role (Required)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills (Desirable)
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities (Required)
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £44,000\.00 per year
