Operations Manager Warehouse Logistics (m/f/d)

In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse operations and delivering outstanding service quality across our logistics processes.
Leading a dedicated operational logistics team of approximately 100 employees \- growing to up to 200 during peak periods \- you will drive the continued development of our central warehouse. From implementing innovative processes to developing talent, you will actively shape the future of an international sports company and leave a visible mark on our success.
What you will be doing:

- Planning and organizing day\-to\-day logistics operations, including workforce and resource allocation.
- Leading, coaching, and developing a motivated shopfloor team.
- Coordinating workforce scheduling to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Driving process improvements and independently implementing optimization initiatives in close collaboration with Logistics Management and the Lean Team.
- Monitoring operational KPIs, analyzing performance metrics, and controlling costs.
- Contributing to a variety of logistics\-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

- A completed higher education qualification in logistics, business, engineering, or a related field \- ideally a university degree or equivalent \- or substantial leadership experience within logistics.
- Several years of experience leading and developing teams.
- Excellent German language skills are essential for success in this role, alongside strong written and spoken English skills.
- Strong SAP expertise, ideally with a focus on SAP EWM.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
- A proactive, hands\-on mindset with strong decision\-making and leadership capabilities.
- Experience in troubleshooting and delivering efficient problem\-solving under operational pressure.

Remuneration is based on the collective agreement for employees in the wood industry. An appropriate overpayment is offered, depending on your individual qualifications and professional experience, as well as development opportunities within a globally operating corporate group.
