Operations Manager
Skylight Psychiatry is a forward thinking, dynamic mental health service. We are a CQC registered service delivering person\-centred assessment, care and support, with our ultimate aim being to improve the lives of people with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, Autism and Learning disabilities.
Role Purpose
The Operations Manager supports the effective day\-to\-day running of operational services, ensuring pathways, processes, and workflows operate smoothly and efficiently.
The role focuses on coordinating operational activity across multiple teams, maintaining oversight of service delivery, and supporting continuous improvement to ensure services are delivered in line with organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day\-to\-day operational delivery of services across defined pathways
- Maintain oversight of service flow, capacity, and operational performance
- Act as a key point of contact for operational issues, supporting timely resolution
- Work collaboratively with clinical, administrative, and corporate teams to support service delivery
- Monitor operational performance and contribute to reporting and review processes
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and service experience
- Support the implementation of new processes, systems, or service changes
- Escalate operational risks or issues in line with governance arrangements
- Contribute to workforce and capacity planning discussions from an operational perspective
- Support clear communication and coordination across teams involved in service delivery
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience in an operational, service delivery, or coordination role
- Experience working across multiple teams or functions
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast\-paced environment
- Confident communicator with a collaborative working style
- Experience working with operational data or service performance information
- Experience in a regulated or complex service environment
- Experience supporting service improvement or operational change
- Familiarity with pathway\-based or end\-to\-end service delivery models

- Starting salary range of £48,000 \- £54,000 depending on experience

Flexible Working options:
- The company is on a mainly remote basis with occasional travel to our head office. However, the office is available for more regular days.
- There is an ability to vary start and finish times (e.g. between 8am and 6pm) while maintaining core hours.
- Option to work compressed hours (full weekly hours over fewer days)
- Adjusted hours for appointments/caring responsibilities with prior arrangement.
