This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional looking to take ownership of day\-to\-day hotel operations while supporting the achievement of business objectives across all departments.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will lead the hotel's operational departments, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction, strong financial performance, and consistent delivery of brand standards.
You will oversee the smooth running of the hotel across Front Office, Food \& Beverage, Events, Housekeeping, Leisure \& Spa, Maintenance and Guest Services, while inspiring teams to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the day\-to\-day operation of the hotel, always ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
· Drive operational efficiency, quality standards and service excellence across all departments.
· Support the delivery of revenue, profit and budget targets.
· Manage and develop departmental managers through coaching, training and performance management.
· Ensure effective labour control, productivity and cost management.
· Maintain high standards of health \& safety, compliance and risk management.
· Work closely with the Sales, Revenue and Events teams to maximise business opportunities.
· Oversee weddings, conferences, corporate events and leisure operations to ensure flawless execution.
· Resolve guest issues professionally and proactively.
· Act as Duty Manager and lead by example during peak periods and key events.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
· Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Deputy General Manager or senior department head within a quality hotel environment.
· Strong knowledge of hotel operations including Rooms Division, Food \& Beverage and Events.
· Experience managing large teams and multiple departments.
· Commercially focused with a strong understanding of budgets, forecasting and profitability.
· Excellent leadership, communication and problem\-solving skills.
· Flexible approach with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
