LetzGo City Tours is an award\-winning walking tour company with over 10 years' experience delivering premium sightseeing experiences. We are seeking an experienced and hands\-on Operations Manager to oversee the day\-to\-day operation of the business and help drive operational excellence. This is a practical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, developing people, improving processes and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
The Role
Working closely with the founders, you will be responsible for the smooth day\-to\-day running of the operation, ensuring tours operate efficiently, teams are supported and developed, and high operational standards are maintained.
We are looking for someone who is prepared to roll up their sleeves, get close to the detail, improve how things are done and build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Manage day\-to\-day operational performance and service delivery.
- Oversee tour bookings, scheduling, forecasting and resource planning.
- Lead, support and develop the Operations team.
- Build strong relationships with guides, suppliers and key partners.
- Resolve operational issues and implement long\-term improvements.
- Improve systems, processes, documentation and ways of working.
- Monitor operational performance, costs and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and Health \& Safety requirements.
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences while supporting a profitable operation.
We are specifically seeking candidates with experience in tours, activities, sightseeing, attractions, visitor experiences or a closely related tourism business \- Hotel front desk experience does not count! Experience within cruise shore excursions would be highly advantageous.
*You will have:*
- 3\+ years' experience in an Operations Management role.
- Experience working with guides, customer\-facing teams or scheduling operations.
- Experience with booking, reservation or scheduling systems.
- Experience managing and developing remote teams.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making ability.
- Experience improving operational processes and procedures.
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Dublin\-based.
