Ireland’s Electric Bike Specialists since 2008\. With stores in Dublin, Mullingar and Cork. Greenaer is the Irish distributor of Riese \& Muller, Urban Arrow, Moustache, Hercules, Tern and Radkutsche. Each store is supported by a full\-service Bosch\-accredited workshop.

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and improving the day\-to\-day operations of three retail bike stores. The role ensures consistent customer experience, strong commercial performance, efficient stock management, workshop productivity, and high operational standards across all locations. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, profitability, team development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across all three stores.

  • Ensure company standards, policies, and procedures are consistently implemented.

  • Conduct regular store visits and operational audits.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer service, and profitability.

  • Lead operational projects and process improvements.
Team Leadership
  • Manage and support sales and workshop teams.

  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees.

  • Conduct performance reviews and set KPIs.

  • Foster a positive, customer\-focused culture.
Inventory \& Supply Chain Management
  • Oversee inventory levels across e\-bikes, parts, accessories, and workshop stock.

  • Develop stock forecasting and replenishment plans.

  • Work with suppliers and distributors to ensure product availability.

  • Monitor inventory accuracy and reduce stock losses.

  • Coordinate stock transfers between stores when required.
Workshop \& Service Operations
  • Oversee workshop productivity and service quality.

  • Ensure efficient scheduling of repairs and servicing.

  • Monitor turnaround times and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain manufacturer service standards and warranty processes.

  • Order spare parts for the workshop
Customer Experience
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards.

  • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints.

  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
Health \& Safety
  • Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain safe workshop and retail environments.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and staff training.

  • Health \& safety compliance
Skills \& ExperienceEssential
  • 3\+ years' experience in retail operations management in a bike shop.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.

  • Inventory management experience.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.

  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

  • Full clean driving licence.
Desirable
  • Experience in cycling, sporting goods, automotive, or mobility retail.

  • Knowledge of e\-bikes and bicycle servicing.

  • Experience with POS, inventory, and ERP systems.
Pay: From €40,000\.00 per year
