Operations Manager

This is a hands\-on, varied role for someone who takes real pride in keeping a venue running smoothly. Based on\-site in a tied flat in central Colchester, you'll be the person who makes sure everything is in order before the doors open and the reliable presence that the business counts on day to day.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• 20–30 hours per week


• Tied flat included – sole occupancy


• Central Colchester​​

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Keep the building running smoothly — overseeing day\-to\-day operations and making sure everything is set up and ready for service


• Run front of house during morning coffee service (10am–12pm)


• Be present for deliveries and manage stock as it arrives


• Provide holiday cover and step in for additional services when the business needs


• Be flexible and adaptable as this role will vary week to week

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in hospitality, venue operations, or a similar hands\-on role


• Highly organised, reliable, and self\-motivated


• Comfortable with a flexible schedule and happy to respond to the needs of the business


• Warm and personable, able to deliver a great experience during morning service


• Must be happy with sole occupancy of the tied flat on\-site
