Autism Independence \| Bristol (office\-based)

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a background in the charity, community or public sector to support the day\-to\-day running of a small, impactful CIC.

This is a hands\-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems, managing staff, and supporting frontline services working with diverse communities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee delivery across multiple funded programmes

  • Manage and support frontline staff

  • Maintain systems, compliance (including safeguarding \& GDPR)

  • Lead monitoring, reporting and service improvement

  • Work with partners including NHS and local authorities
About you:
  • Strong experience in operations/service management in a VCSE, community or public sector setting

  • Confident managing people and supporting complex frontline work

  • Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and service quality

  • Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a small team
This role may not suit you if:
  • You are looking for a corporate or purely strategic role

  • You don’t have experience in community or frontline services
22\.5 hours/week \| £22,230 (£37k FTE)
