Operations Manager

We are an established and fast\-growing courier and logistics company with successful operations in the UK. As part of our continued expansion, we have recently launched a new subsidiary business in Ireland, including a new warehouse and operational hub in Dublin, to support our growing customer base throughout the country.We are now seeking an experienced, driven, and hands\-on Operations Manager to lead and develop our Irish operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing international business and play a key role in building and shaping our operations in Ireland from the ground up.

Role Overview:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day\-to\-day running of our Dublin warehouse and wider Irish logistics operations.

The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, high service standards, team performance, and compliance across all areas of the business.This role requires a proactive leader with strong organisational skills, operational experience within logistics or courier services, and the ability to manage a fast\-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily warehouse and logistics operations across Ireland


• Manage, motivate, and support warehouse staff, drivers, and subcontractors


• Ensure deliveries and operational activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards


• Monitor operational performance, KPIs, productivity, and service levels


• Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and scalability


• Maintain compliance with Irish transport regulations, health \& safety requirements, and company policies


• Coordinate closely with the UK management team to ensure consistency across operations


• Manage staffing levels, schedules, fleet coordination, and operational resources


• Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively while maintaining excellent customer service


• Support the continued growth and expansion of the business throughout Ireland


• Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost savings, and service enhancement

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Warehouse Manager, or Logistics Management role


• Experience within courier, transport, warehouse, or logistics operations preferred


• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem\-solving skills


• Excellent communication and team management abilities


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced and demanding environment


• Proven experience managing operational performance and KPIs


• Good understanding of compliance, transport regulations, and health \& safety standards


• Strong IT skills including operational systems


• Full driving licence
