Operations Manager

Overview:
Lead site operations across health and safety, people management, compliance, purchasing, production control, supplier coordination and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead onsite H\&S matters including risk assessments, SOP's, audits and compliance
- Organise H\&S meetings, fore drills, inspections, health surveillance and records
- Conduct RTWI;s, disciplinary processes, induction and operational training
- Record training and manage holidays, absences and PPE issue
- Maintain compliance records, calibration and quality documentation
- Raise purchases, manage gas, pallets, scrap collections and supplier issues
- Control departmental lead times, conduct 5s inspections and manage projects
- Support sales with operational priorities and attend daily production meetings
- Manage workwear, printers, site services and daily gate paperwork
- Strong operational \& production leadership experience
- Good knowledge of health and safety, compliance and people management
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems quickly
- Confidence working across departments, suppliers and senior management
39 hours per week
Monday \- Thursday 9am to 5\.10pm
Friday 9am to 4\.10pm.
Includes a 30 minute paid lunch and a 10 minute unpaid break
