Operations Lead
Job Summary
The Elms are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Lead to cover maternity leave. The key staff member will oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our practice sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, demonstrate excellent communication abilities and be efficient using AI applications. This role is pivotal in supporting our clinical and non\-clinical team in achieving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Utilise Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking key performance indicators.
- Provide administrative support, including supporting Admin team, organising meetings, taking minutes
- Onboarding and off boarding staff from clinical system EMIS, Docman, GPTN and other related IT systems used by the practice
- Maintaining GPTN.
- Primary contact for external IT and related ICB colleagues
- Coordinating with medical students, onboarding, creating rota’s
- Supportive Managing Partner \& Admin Manager with practice procedures and pathways.
- Practice lead for IT\-related tasks as needed, ensuring all office technology is functioning correctly.
- Updating PIDS and practice website
- Supporting Care Cordinators with QOF/ECF/Ardens Call and recall system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
- Experienced in EMIS, Accurx, Ardens, GPTeamNet (Agilo)
- Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Previous experience working in healthcare.
- PA experience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong customer service orientation with problem\-solving capabilities.
- Experienced in troubleshooting IT issues for the practice and staff members
