We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Director to lead and drive operational excellence across our Fire \& Security division. This is a senior leadership role focused on improving performance, enhancing engineer productivity, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and services across the business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Fire \& Security industry, with proven experience managing operations, leading teams, and delivering continuous business improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and develop operational plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Oversee the successful delivery of Fire \& Security projects and services, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and related systems.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, engineer productivity, and overall service performance.
- Analyse field operations and implement effective scheduling, routing, and resource management systems to optimise engineer performance.
- Lead procurement and supply chain strategies to ensure cost\-effective purchasing and timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
- Use data, analytics, and KPIs to monitor operational performance, identify trends, and support informed decision\-making.
- Build, lead, and develop a high\-performing operations team, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with senior leadership to support business objectives, profitability, and long\-term operational growth.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience within the Fire \& Security industry.
- Strong operational and project delivery background across Fire \& Security systems.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, productivity, and service delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commercially aware with strong problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities.
- Experience managing operational KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Results\-driven with a proactive and strategic mindset.

Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: Up to £50,000\.00 per year
