Operations Controller (m/f/d)

Responsibility:
- Lead monthly closing process together with accounting department
- Assure correct preparation of Flash, Budget and StratPlan, Budget process for production plants (Germany \& Belgium)Analyses plant situation, identify area of improvement, drives implementation at plants (target setting) in time
- Identification of cost \& efficiency improvement potential
- Alignment of outcome for all plants in perimeter (benchmark with other countries)
- Automatize KPI's and embed controlling instruments within IT systems, Key user SAP for Controlling
- Close contact and alignment with other Business Group Controller on all topic (e.g. System improvement, reporting, Division /Group requirements)
- Responsible for improvement of controlling activities and internal control
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Several years of experience (\> 7 y) within Controlling/Finance, including proven experience as a Plant Controller, in industry
- Solid track record of controlling instruments
- Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and IFRS standards
- Demonstrated solid leadership skills and experience
- Willingness and ability to integrate into a team and a high level of resilience
- Proficient in SAP (FI, CO) modules
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and work under tight deadlines
- First experience as an Internal Auditor
- Fluent in German and English
