Operations \& Supply Chain Manager

We’re looking for a highly organised, commercially minded Operations Manager to help drive the next stage of growth in our fast\-paced food business.

This is a hands\-on leadership role for someone who thrives on improving systems, solving problems, managing supply chains, and making operations run smoothly at scale.

You’ll oversee day\-to\-day operations across supply chain, logistics, stock management, supplier coordination, fulfilment, and process improvement — ensuring we deliver exceptional service while maintaining efficiency and profitability.

This role is officed based, initially split between Bedale and York – some travel to suppliers may be required.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing day\-to\-day business operations


• Overseeing supply chain and stock management


• Managing supplier relationships and performance


• Improving operational systems and processes


• Coordinating logistics and fulfilment


• Reducing waste and improving efficiency


• Supporting growth and scalability across the business


• Working cross\-functionally with sales, finance, warehouse, and production teams

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, foodservice, or retail supply


• Understands supply chain and operational management


• Is highly organised and detail\-oriented


• Can take ownership and drive accountability


• Has strong commercial awareness


• Is calm under pressure and solutions\-focused


• Enjoys building systems and improving performance


• Wants to make a genuine impact in a growing business

Desirable Experience

• BRC / HACCP knowledge


• ERP or stock management systems


• Logistics and warehouse coordination


• Continuous improvement / Lean operations


• Major Retailer supply chain experience
