Applications are invited for an Operations Administrator to support Department activity within the School of Natural Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity, to join a team of operational colleagues working within a hybrid model, in different locations across the University estate, and remotely.

Operating as part of the School Operations Team and reporting to the Operations Project Officer (OPO), the role provides comprehensive and proactive operational support across the School.

The post holder will work in partnership with professional services and academic colleagues, crucial to the success and functioning of the Department and School.

This role requires on\-campus presence in line with operational need, with a minimum of 2 days per week.

Flexible, blended working arrangements will be considered.

The post holder may be assigned to a Department within the School but will be employed by the school and as such will work to support activity across the school.

School of Natural Sciences

Established in 2019 the School of Natural Sciences is one of two large, multi\-disciplinary Schools within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The School of Natural Sciences delivers teaching and research activities across the core disciplines of Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Materials, Fashion Business and Technology, Mathematics and Physics and Astronomy.

Our internationally renowned expertise informs research led teaching with strong collaboration across disciplines, unlocking new and exciting fields and working at the interface with the Faculties of Biology, Medicine and Health and Humanities and with the School of Engineering, translating science into reality.

The school hosts thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students across 6 academic teaching disciplines and research span's multiple themes.
