Location Avonmouth, Bristol Reports to Cold Store Manager
Main Objective
To provide a supportive administrative function regarding the operation of Cold Storage facilities. To sort, check, count and label customer/supplier deliveries arriving into the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and compliance in support of the Company's business plan, quality standards and operational objectives.
Duties and responsibilities
1 Unloading, Loading \& Handling Goods/Products
- Unloading \& loading goods from vehicles whilst following Training Module Standard Operating Procedures
- Cross checking of consignments against suppliers PODS
- Ensure all relevant product information is recorded \& compliant with customer product specification
- Reporting any \& all discrepancies to the relevant personnel
- Carrying out spot checks \& stock takes when required
- Finding suitable storage areas \& labelling or pallets for put away
- Assisting with the put away of stock
- Operate MHE (CBT \& PPT) where certified
- Provide assistance in other departments as required
- Provide comprehensive office administration support
- Ensure full traceability by recording incoming \& outgoing stock in an accurate manner via the AI\-WMS
- Prepare all relevant paperwork for goods inwards \& outwards
- Liaise with hauliers, supplier \& customer to organise \& allocate transport slots
- Be the main point of contact for customers \& Head Office regarding orders \& associated queries
- Track \& record all daily order/consignments for full invoicing visibility
- Ensure adherence to SOPS \& policies, so as to remain compliant with Food Safety, Health \& Safety legislation
- Carry out any other duties as required and as commensurate with the role
Strong numeracy and literacy skills to support accurate data handling and documentation.
Clear and confident communication skills to support effective teamwork and day\-to\-day liaison.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational skills to manage workloads and maintain accurate records.
Proficient IT skills, including the use of internal systems and Microsoft Office packages.
Pay: From £27,057\.94 per year
