Operations & Administration Coordinator
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations \& Administration Coordinator to join our team at our Uttoxeter site.
This role is integral to ensuring smooth daily operations across order processing, logistics, finance, and client communication.
This is a fully office\-based role. Candidates must be able to commute to Uttoxeter, ST14 8SH on a daily basis.
What You'll Be Doing
\- Entering and managing all sales orders through our MRP system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
\- Booking and coordinating haulage for outgoing deliveries, liaising with haulage providers to ensure reliable and cost\-effective transport
\- Acting as a key point of contact for clients — keeping them informed and building strong working relationships
\- Supporting buying and procurement activities, monitoring supplier orders and chasing as required
\- Finance support including invoicing, purchase ledger, and credit control
\- Organising and attending production meetings — preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions through to completion
\- Completing test certification documentation for weight testing and maintaining accurate certification records
\- Liaising with external vendors and service providers to facilitate smooth operations
\- Supporting project management activities by tracking deadlines and deliverables
\- General administration to a consistently high standard

What We're Looking For
Essential:
\- Previous experience in an administrative role in a manufacturing or similar fast\-paced environment
\- Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software
\- Experience using an MRP or ERP system
\- Confident communicator — comfortable dealing with clients by phone and email
\- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
\- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
\- Must be able to commute daily to Uttoxeter, ST14 8SH
Desirable:
\- Experience booking or coordinating haulage or logistics
\- Experience in credit control or purchase ledger
\- Working knowledge of AI tools in a business setting
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
