Bennett Opie Ltd is a family\-owned business in Sittingbourne, Kent, manufacturing a range of shelf\-stable food products including pickles, home baking goods and cocktail garnishes for retail and food service customers.

This role is Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm (No Weekends!) however, some flexibility may be required at times to support colleagues, customers and / or business requirements.
Salary: £27,000\.00 to £31,000\.00 Depending upon experience.
Holiday: 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays.
The Role
The Online Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the end\-to\-end integrity of our e\-commerce supply chain. You will oversee the digital and physical flow of goods, ensuring that every order is fulfilled accurately, every return is processed efficiently, and every unit of stock is accounted for. This role is the bridge between our online sales platforms, warehouse operations, and finance department. MAIN DUTIES
- Monitor real\-time stock levels across various online sales channels to prevent overselling/ensuring stock integrity.
- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses or retail locations to fulfil online demand.
- Conduct regular "Book vs. Physical" stock audits and investigate any discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure the Inventory Management System (IMS) is updated to reflect arrivals, damages, and transfers.
- Oversee the daily order flow from the web store to the dispatch team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for third\-party partners.
- Investigate and identify shipping delays, lost packages, or address errors to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Optimise packaging and shipping workflows to reduce costs and transit times.
- Manage the end\-to\-end returns process, ensuring items are inspected, graded, and returned to "active" stock promptly.
- Analyse return trends (e.g., high damage rates or recurring product faults) and report findings to the Quality Control team.
- Perform weekly reconciliation of cash receipts against orders dispatched.
- Ensure that payments captured via gateways (e.g., Shopify Payments, PayPal, Stripe) match the order values in the ERP system.
- Investigate failed payments and credit card chargeback transactions.
- Provide month\-end reports on stock value, shrinkage, and logistics expenditures.
- Cover warehouse operations duties when required.
- Support other administration roles for holiday/sickness cover.
· 2\+ years in e\-commerce logistics, warehouse coordination, or inventory management.
· High proficiency in warehouse management systems.
- Proficient Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables) for data reconciliation.
- Ability to remain calm and solution focused.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise between warehouse staff and office management.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
