Salary: £13\.68 per hour (£17,073 per annum)
Hours: 24 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 9\-3pm)
Location: Manor Farm Community Centre and local centres
Contract Length: 2 Years

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Older People’s Services Lead Officer to lead and promote our programme of activities and support for older people. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in tackling loneliness and social isolation, improving wellbeing, and creating meaningful connections within the community.
About the Role
You will lead the Older People’s Services activities, ensuring high\-quality provision that make a genuine difference to people’s lives. You’ll work closely with other project staff, partners, and the wider community to expand and promote activities that support healthier, happier ageing. This is a hands\-on role with direct involvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the older people services activities programme
- Provide leadership to volunteers to support activities and residents
- Promote the activities to engage new participants
- Maintain accurate monitoring of attendance and participant records
- Support service users with advice, guidance, and signposting
- Strengthen referral pathways and expand community networks
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about improving the lives of older people
- An effective activity leader with experience of delivering on projects with older people at the focus
- Skilled in building partnerships and working collaboratively
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Confident in accurate monitoring and record keeping
- A strong communicator who can engage a wide range of people
- Full, clean driving licence and Enhanced DBS check (required due to working with vulnerable individuals)
