Office Manager
Spark Speech is a new specialist speech and language therapy centre in Stillorgan, supporting children with speech, language and communication needs, including children with additional needs, and their families across South Dublin.
As we grow, we are looking for an experienced Office Manager to run the centre and to build our relationships with local schools and public services.
This is a key role for an organised, capable professional who enjoys working alongside clinicians, children and families in a start up environment.
Key responsibilities
Manage the day to day administration and operation of the centre
Manage reception, telephone and email enquiries and client communications
Provide a professional, welcoming and supportive experience for children with additional needs and their families
Coordinate appointments, diaries, room utilisation and therapist schedules
Maintain records and documentation, manage invoicing and general office administration
Manage Spark Speech's social media and digital communications, including content planning and posting
Engage with local primary schools, CDNTs and other state and statutory bodies on behalf of the centre
Liaise with parents, therapists and external organisations
Support the onboarding and administration of new clients
Coordinate suppliers, facilities and operational requirements
Help develop and implement office processes as the business grows
Provide administrative and operational support to the management team
Essential
Proven experience in office management, practice management, reception or a similar administrative role
Experience of working with or supporting children with additional needs and their families, in a professional, educational, healthcare or voluntary setting
Detailed knowledge of Stillorgan and South Dublin, including local primary and secondary schools, special education provision and children's services, gained through work, study or lived experience
Experience of working with government, HSE or other public bodies
Demonstrable experience managing social media or digital communications for an organisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as the role involves clinical and client correspondence
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and strong IT and administrative skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and to work independently
Willingness to undergo Garda vetting
Desirable:
Experience in a hospitality, healthcare, education or therapy setting
Existing working knowledge of CDNTs and the Assessment of Need and early intervention pathways
Full time, permanent, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Salary: €26,000 to €28,000 depending on experience
Location: Stillorgan, Co. Dublin
Start date: 1 November
