The Role
As Office Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing daily office operations while managing a team of eight administrative and support staff. You will play a key role in maintaining service standards, improving processes and ensuring the office operates efficiently and effectively.
Working closely with senior management, you will support business objectives through effective team leadership, resource planning and operational management. This position would suit a proactive and hands-on manager with strong organisational and people management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and leading a team of eight administrative and support staff
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Monitoring workloads, allocating tasks and supporting team development
- Conducting performance reviews, coaching and providing ongoing staff support
- Reviewing and improving administrative processes and procedures
- Managing office facilities, suppliers and operational requirements
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Acting as the main point of contact for operational and office-related matters
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Operations Manager or Team Leader position
- Proven experience managing and developing a team within a professional office environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
