Office Manager
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Reports to: Internal Operation Manager
Salary: £40\-50k depending on experience

Role Overview
We’re looking for an organised, proactive Office Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly. You’ll manage client enquiries, support estimating and project coordination, maintain accreditations and compliance, oversee HR and IT, and provide key support to Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- HR: Be a key contact for HR issues that may arise. Manage HR software, holidays, training, recruitment, onboarding, and audit Site Connect records weekly.
- Training and Development \- Lead staff induction and onboarding process. Drive internal training and continuous development initiatives
- Enquiries \& Estimating: Acknowledge and track all enquiries, maintain our estimating system Pipedrive CRM, support tender returns, produce monthly pipeline reports, and ensure smooth handover to live jobs.
- Accreditation \& Compliance: Complete client pre\-qualifications, maintain ISO and other accreditations, and chase compliance actions on Dashpivot.
- IT: Act as the main contact for our IT provider, manage equipment, licences, backups, and upgrades.
- Training \& Development: Lead staff induction, coordinate internal training, and develop the training matrix.
- Project Coordination: Administer Dashpivot and Connecteam, and manage H\&S documentation for site teams.
- Director Support: Coordinate diaries, meetings, reports, calls, and welcome visitors.
- Office Management: Oversee office systems, archive projects, and manage our facility to it is operating smoothly
- Proven office management or operations experience
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- HR and recruitment experience
- Understanding of compliance and ISO standards (desirable)
- Construction/joinery industry experience (desirable)
- Proactive, detail\-oriented, and able to work independently
