Office Administrator

Welbro Project Management Ltd is looking for an Office Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of its busy office in Fareham. This is a key role within the business, providing administrative, organisational and operational support across the company.
Established in 2000, Welbro specialises in refurbishment projects for military, industrial and commercial buildings and has completed over 3,000 contracts in the UK and overseas.
You will support the Senior Management Team, assist with administration linked to construction projects, and help ensure office processes run efficiently and professionally.
We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing a varied workload in a professional office environment. You will also support Welbro's core values of family values, honesty, integrity, safety and quality.
What the role involves Administration and office support
- Managing general office administration and day-to-day operations
- Answering and directing phone calls and emails professionally
- Maintaining electronic and paper-based filing systems
- Preparing letters, documents, reports and spreadsheets
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Supporting the Senior Management Team
- Coordinating travel and accommodation bookings
- Liaising with external suppliers and service providers
- Raising purchase orders
- Managing, tracking and maintaining "on hire" records
- Assisting with health and safety administration and records
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
- Willingness to learn new systems
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Experience working within construction or a similar environment
- Experience supporting senior management
- Experience using SharePoint and OneDrive
- Professional and approachable
- Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn
- Able to prioritise workload effectively
- Good problem-solving skills
